Tabor Communications Appoints Veteran Editor Nicole Hemsoth as Director of Editorial

SAN DIEGO, CA. – October 16, 2012 – Tabor Communications Inc., (TCI) a leading international media, advertising, and communications company, and publisher of a complete advanced computing portfolio that includes HPCwire, Datanami, Digital Manufacturing Report, and HPC in the Cloud today announced that Nicole Hemsoth has assumed the position of Director of Editorial for the complete portfolio of Tabor Communications publications.
In addition to her role as Director of Editorial, Hemsoth will maintain her position as the Managing Editor of Datanami, which covers the entire spectrum of data-intensive (big data) computing in research and enterprise environments.

With a growing team of managing, assistant and associate editors, Hemsoth will reinforce consistency of quality across the expanding ecosystem of Tabor Communications publications and will push her team into the future with new portals that remain at the cutting edge of both publishing platforms and editorial insight.

Before assuming the role of Director of Editorial for Tabor Communications, Nicole Hemsoth was responsible for several TCI publications, as both a managing editor and contributing editor. She has covered several major IT industry segments and verticals, established strategic relationships across the high performance computing, cloud, and big data industries, and was instrumental in driving the vision and direction for Tabor Communications’ editorial.
Hemsoth migrated from the world of English Literature as an undergraduate (Ohio State University) into technology writing with her own tech-heavy marketing and writing firm before entering the fast-paced world of high performance computing and big data. She is currently based between the Research Triangle Park (RTP) area in Raleigh, North Carolina and Greensboro, North Carolina, with frequent hops stateside and internationally as she covers a broad range of industry-related events.
