Asya Shklyar Announced as Keynote Speaker for EnterpriseHPC’17 Summit on Advanced Scale Computing for the Enterprise

SAN DIEGO, CA (December 13, 2016) – The EnterpriseHPC’17 summit, the market-leading live hosted summit dedicated to exploring the emergence of advanced scale computing in commercial settings, today announced Asya Shklyar, a former HPC Systems Engineer for SpaceX and currently a Senior Scientific Consultant for Infrastructure at The BioTeam, Inc., has joined the lineup of keynote speakers for the EnterpriseHPC’17 summit.

Shklyar’s talk will take a close look at HPC environments across industries to identify key differences as well as areas where all advanced-scale infrastructures stand on common ground. From there, Shklyar will zero in on the common denominators and how to approach issues others have already solved, from software to storage.

Asya Shklyar joined BioTeam in 2016 after many years of helping life sciences (and space industry) companies wrangle their infrastructures into submission. With a wide range of skills in Infiniband hardware and software, networking, schedulers, HPC design, project management, monitoring, data mining and visualization, and systems integration, Shklyar enjoys solving difficult problems, and helping advance scientific discovery.

In its fourth year, EnterpriseHPC’17, scheduled for March 19-21, 2017 at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, will once again host executives in commercial organizations who are exploring the benefits and associated challenges of scaling their enterprise computing to meet new production opportunities available in the Big Data paradigm.

The program caters towards fostering community and discussion, including educational keynote tracks with open dialogue segues, boardroom case-study sessions with cross-vertical peer groups, and one-on-one solutions briefings with leading suppliers. Executives will leave armed with information and ideas on how to further their strategy and best maximize their returns for their own corporate advanced IT investments.

Key topics driving the EnterpriseHPC’17 summit include creating value while scaling infrastructure, security for converged infrastructure, deployment techniques, scaling ROI, the intersection of Big Data and HPC, and storage solutions for a high performance world.

The summit is fully paid for qualified attendees (including flight, hotel, meals and summit badge).

Co-chaired by EnterpriseTech Managing Editor, Doug Black, and HPCwire Editor, John Russell, the EnterpriseHPC’16 summit program will explore the trends and challenges of advanced scale and high performance computing being integrated into the data rich commercial environment.

The conference is hosted by EnterpriseTech and HPCwire through a partnership between Tabor Communications and nGage Events, the leader in host-based, invitation-only business events.
