Tabor Communications Expands Executive Team with Key Appointments

SAN DIEGO, CA. – May 1, 2012 – Tabor Communications Inc., (TCI) Publisher of a complete data intensive computing portfolio that includes HPCwire, HPC in the Cloud, Digital Manufacturing Report, and Datanami, and a leading international media, advertising, and communications company, today announced the arrival of two operational and financial services professionals joining the Tabor Communications’ executive staff.
Michael (Mike) Bergthold, Managing Director at 3C Advisors & Associates and formerly Regional Business Development Executive at Ernst & Young has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer. Michael helped to guide the strategy planning for Tabor Communications in 2011, and has become deeply familiar with TCI’s operations over the past 12 months. As COO he will work to support the TCI brand and drive customer and employee engagement to ensure the company’s continued performance and growth. Mike has a long history of excellence in leadership, having served as GM, CFO & CRO at privately and publicly held companies in a wide variety of industries, and expertise in profitability improvement, customer-driven strategy development, and relationship analysis.
Susan Snow joins TCI as the new Chief Financial Officer, responsible for overall financial accounting and reporting, planning, forecasting and all treasury-related activities. Susan is founder and Principal at OSAS, Inc. and brings a wealth of executive leadership skills from her past experience in a number of high-level Financial, Executive and Board level roles. Ms. Snow’s executive management background includes specializing in driving operational efficiencies through strong financial leadership, business development, accounting and recapitalization, and leading financial services and operational strategic planning and management.
