Job Description:
The primary responsibilities for this position are to support the vendors and developers of Computational Chemistry software, and support Cray's sales and marketing in the chemistry area. This entails the porting and optimization of computational chemistry software, maintaining vendor relationships, running benchmarks, giving customer presentations, and advising Cray Sales, Marketing, and development personnel on chemistry related issues. This position will have a close relationship with marketing functions related to the chemical/pharmaceutical work segment. About 20% travel is expected.
Education and Experience:
A Ph.D. in chemistry is required. Experience with several of the more prevalent computational chemistry codes is highly desired. Experience working with customers is also desirable. (AA/EEO)
