Assist, plan, conduct, and report research in the area of computational science and engineering involving computation on high performance computers. Provide consulting for strategic user applications to assist in the parallelization, optimization and tuning, and generation of data that can be used in visualization environments. Write technical papers on new and innovative ways of using Windows 2000 in a computational environment. Produce web based documentation for effective use of the CTC visualization hardware and software. Participate in CTC training activities including preparing and giving new technical seminar materials and lab exercises. Attend and/or represent CTC at relevant technical and developer conferences.

Ph.D. in a computational science field. Extensive experience with large-scale scientific computations using high-performance computers in a variety of environments, including Windows 2000/XP programming environments and tools essential. Experience working in a research environment using and developing parallel software and tools. Significant experience with popular Windows scripting languages including Python, Perl and Visual Basic important.
