
Server and Network Administrator Team Lead

Job Purpose:
Under general supervision, provide both Computer Assets and Customers with
support in all areas of LAN and server functionality.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the
following; Other duties may be assigned:
Provide technical support for a diverse customer base; Serve as LAN
Administrator; Design, rebuild, and maintain LAN architecture
environments; Administer servers; Troubleshoot connectivity issues;
Resolve hardware and software issues; Keep reports and logs of activities;
Stay current on service pack releases and security bulletins; Assign tasks
to and manage network administrators
Work Environment:
Office Environment Travel in New Mexico and Arizona up to 70% Company
Vehicals are provided for the travel Weekends are kept to a minimum Casual

Education and/or Experience:
A BS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum
of five years experience in the field. Industry certification such as MCP,
MCSE or MCSE+I is highly desirable. Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work
independently and as part of a team; Ability to interact effectively with
users; Develop and improve procedures; Document the results of computer
operations; Knowledge of Windows 95/98/2000/NT/ME/XP installation, setup
and troubleshooting;
Strong knowledge of the following:
Active Directory; DNS; WNS; DHCP; RIS; IIS; Windows 2000 Server; Exchange
2000 Architecture; Windows NT 4.0 Server; Windows XP; XP Enterprise
Deployment; Configuration and deployment expertise in related Microsoft
Technologies; TCP/IP; Domain Policies; Security; Logon scripts; AD
replication; File and printer sharing; Backup/disaster recover; Backup
Exec 8.x; Manage time and projects
Additional Skills desired:
HTML; School-centric software/environment; RRAS; Cisco IOS; SQL;
Frame-relay; T-1; RF; Microwave communications; Routers; Switches; Norton
A/V Enterprise Edition; Terminal Services; Travel is required Physical
Demands Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Compensation:
Upper 40's, Benefits include life, health, dental, vision, 3 weeks PTO, 9
holidays, 401k, benefits after 30 days of hire
