HPC Application Analyst
You will be responsible for large High Performance Technical computing projects working with customers and
internal clients. In this position, you will be a member of the Compaq High Performance Computing Expertise
Center located at a large government facility. The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of
FORTRAN-90, C, MPI, Open MP, Computer Architecture, Parallel/Computationally Intensive Applications, SMP,
Performance Analysis and Optimizations. BS in physics, engineering, mathematics or a related field with 5+
years' experience in a high performance technical computing environment is required.
Senior Systems Administrators I
Responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of a high performance parallel computer. You must have
extensive knowledge of the UNIX Operating System as well as demonstrated experience in supporting a large
enterprise level UNIX installation. BSCS or equivalent experience required.
Senior Systems Administrator II
The successful candidate will operate a high performance Compaq Tru64 UNIX computer. We require extensive
knowledge of Compaq Tru64 UNIX and demonstrated experience with Tru64 Clusters. Thorough knowledge of
operating system concepts and operations is necessary. BSCS or equivalent experience required; graduate
level degree preferred.
HPC Application Developers
You will be responsible for development and maintenance of large scale parallel scientific application codes.
This position requires experience with MPI, Open MP, Fortran or C and scientific libraries. BSCS required;
graduate level degree preferred.
HPC UNIX Operating System Developer
Your primary responsibilities will include the modification of kernel level codes in the UNIX Operating
System. You must have experience with kernel level code development and debugging. Linux experience a plus.
BSCS or equivalent experience required; graduate level degree preferred.
These positions are available at Sandia National Laboratories or Los Alamos National
Laboratory. Qualified candidates must be able to obtain and hold a DOE security clearance.
