Currently, we are seeking a senior individual to provide both technical leadership and managerial strength in support of our U.S. expansion effort. The title is Applications Manager. This will be a hands-on technical position with responsibilities for coding, porting, benchmarking and technical presentations. In this role, you will be the key technology resource for U.S. field operations and will provide the expertise in customer interactions, both pre- and post-sales.

We have very specific needs for this role and the requirements include:

• strong programming skills in C, C++, Fortran and an understanding of microarchitectures.
• in-depth exposure to parallel architectures with experience in programming of large parallel or clustered systems.
• excellent problem-solving skills and ability to see where our solution fits.
• very strong customer and communications skills. Must be able to express yourself clearly and concisely via phone, e-mail and face-to-face.
• management aptitude. Direct experience in running teams is not necessary (although helpful) but this position is expected to grow into a functional manager in the future.

Additionally, it is very important that the qualified individual have experience in one of our markets: Life Sciences/BioTech; Financial Analysis; FFT (seismic, imaging); FEA, or other scientific computational fields requiring very high performance computing solutions.
