Argonne National Laboratory invites applications for manager of the Systems Group of the Mathematics and Computer Science Division.

The manager will supervise the diverse systems areas, including high- performance computers, advanced networking equipment, and experimental systems. The manager will also implement technical solutions and develop strategic plans for advanced computing initiatives.

In addition to comprehensive experience in systems administration, candidates must have extensive skills in systems architecture and operation; network design; operating systems; scientific visualization; and multimedia technology. Also required are excellent communication skills for interacting with scientific, administrative, and support staff and with external research groups.

Candidates should have a master's degree and 8-12 years of experience/equivalent or a bachelor's degree and 12+ years experience/equivalent.
