3DGeo Development Inc. is soliciting applications for software engineers to join our development team in Santa Clara CA implementing Grid computing applications and interfaces for seismic data processing. Minimum qualifications include a BS/MS in computer science, or physical science/engineering with substantial computer programming experience. The successful candidate will have expertise programming in C and Java in Linux environments and familiarity with Globus Toolkit and Grid computing. Conceptual understanding of parallel computer architecture, object oriented design, graphics user interface design and modern software development tools is essential. Projects include Grid enabling compute intensive scientific applications and implementing Grid interfaces in Java.
