SAN DIEGO, CA – April 19, 2011 -- Tabor Communications Inc., (TCI) publisher of HPCwire and a leading international media, advertising, and communications company, and the TeraGrid '11: Extreme Digital Discovery conference have entered into a new co-marketing agreement for 2011.
The TeraGrid 2011 conference will showcase the capabilities, achievements, and impact of the TeraGrid (www.teragrid.org) in research and education and will mark the beginning of the National Science Foundation's eXtreme Digital Resources for Science and Engineering program.

The agreement also allows HPCwire the opportunity for communication outreach and promotion in advance of this year's conference, in order to help expand awareness of the project, its importance, and to garner additional support from its thousands of readers and subscribers worldwide.

The TeraGrid project is an open scientific discovery infrastructure, combining leadership-class resources from 11 partner sites to create an integrated, persistent computational resource. The TeraGrid is coordinated through the Grid Infrastructure Group at the University of Chicago, working in partnership with the Resource Provider sites: Indiana University, the Louisiana Optical Network Initiative, National Center for Supercomputing Applications, the National Institute for Computational Sciences, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, Purdue University, San Diego Supercomputer Center, Texas Advanced Computing Center, University of Chicago/Argonne National Laboratory, and the National Center for Atmospheric Research.
