San Diego, CA – January 4, 2011 -- HPCwire, the most widely recognized and accessed news and information site covering the ecosystem of High Performance Computing (HPC) today announced that it has named Jeff Hyman as President and Publisher of HPCwire.

During his 5-year tenure with HPCwire, Hyman has helped to expand the publication's products and services to grow its readership base by over 50%. In his new role as President and Publisher, he will assume executive ownership over all aspects of the publication, in addition to the worldwide business development and sales strategy for the company's broad line of products and services.

Mr. Hyman originally joined HPCwire as Director of Business Development in 2006. His background spans 30 years of sales and management expertise across multiple technology publications. Prior to joining Tabor Communications, he was Vice President of Sales for IDG's Bio-ITWorld magazine, whose focus is on HPC used specifically within the life sciences to accelerate the pace of drug discovery and development. Past roles also included sales positions at CMP's Informationweek and CMGI's Engage Technologies. Mr. Hyman holds a BS from Babson College and an MBA from Suffolk University.
