SAN DIEGO — April 24, 2007 — Tabor Communications Inc. today announced it has selected Diane Lieberman as Vice President and Publisher of Tabor Publications and Events. In this newly created position, Lieberman will report to Debra Goldfarb, CEO of Tabor Communications, and will manage the strategic growth of Tabor’s online product portfolio, including HPCwire and GRIDtoday, new product development and related events. Her responsibilities encompass sales and business development, editorial content and audience development for the growing company.

As a veteran of the publishing industry with more than 20 years experience, Lieberman has an extensive media industry background in both print and online mediums, with an established track record for building new businesses, growing sales, and reaching new levels of profitability. Lieberman has enjoyed success in both start-up environments and Fortune 500 companies, where she has cultivated a depth of cross disciplinary skills, especially in the arena of technology publishing. She has held key sales and marketing management roles with leading technology publications including Networking Management (PennWell Publishing Co.); BYTE Magazine, Data Communications, tele.com (The McGraw-Hill Companies); Bio-IT World and Health-IT World (IDG). Lieberman also held critical business development roles in the launch of two Internet businesses: THINQ Learning Solutions, and the Analyst Information Services division of Bitpipe, Inc.

In 2001, Lieberman was the first member of the management team hired by the CEO to help launch IDG’s Bio-IT World division. In her role as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development with Bio-IT World, Lieberman was responsible for developing a successful custom publishing business as well as for all marketing activities, including advertising, lead generation, public relations, media relations, events, research, competitive analyses, sales support and marketing collateral. Lieberman later played a key role in launching Health-IT World, a leading online publication focused on technology for healthcare.

Lieberman was most recently the publisher for Worcester Magazine, an award-winning weekly newspaper that serves the central Massachusetts region, where she was hired to lead the turn-around to profitability for the established regional publication. During her tenure with the company, she overhauled the distribution strategy, led the redesign and re-launch of both the publication and its website, and rebuilt the sales organization and strengthened the brand, resulting in a bottom line improvement of nearly 20%.
