WHAT IS The Conference & Events Guide?

The Conference & Events Guide is the only semi-monthly email newsletter uniquely focused on conferences and events for all aspects of high performance computing, Grid computing, and data intensive storage for the enterprise.

The Conference & Events Guide delivers information about your event to over 546,000 prospective attendees over a 60-day period. The Guide is emailed to HPCwire, GRIDtoday, and DSstar readers every other Tuesday, and promotes your event to the most active participants in Enterprise/Commercial/Industrial and Research/Academic sectors.

Conference & Events Guide advertisers receive Calendar of Events listings online at www.hpcwire.com, www.gridtoday.com, and www.dsstar.com.

GUIDELINES

One conference or event is permitted per listing. Each listing runs in four consecutive issues of the Conference & Events Guide. The Conference & Events Guide is a prepaid section. A standard ad (10 lines of text) is $2,000 for a 60-day period.

AD SPECIFICATIONS:

Each ad should be in its final form (ASCII) and submitted in the following manner:

1. Conference & Events Guide:
   
   Heading
   Event Date
   Name of Event
   Location
   Event website URL
   
   Body
   Up to 10 lines of text no more than 70 character-spaces wide, describing the event, call for participation, registration information.
   
   
2. Calendar of Events listing online:
   
   Event Date
   Name of Event
   Location
   Event website URL

ONLINE BANNER AD SPECIFICATIONS:

Online Banner ads are available in two positions at this popular website. A Table of Contents Banner Ad (468x60) is $2,750 each. A Calendar of Events Banner Ad (120x60) is $1,375 each.

Online Banner ads should be in final form and submitted in the following manner:

1. ASCII Copy:
   
   Text ad: Five lines of text, no more than 50 characters per line.
   Text retrieval: 100 lines of text, no more than 70 characters per line.
   
   
2. Table of Contents Banner Ad:
   
   468x60 pixels, static or Animated in GIF or JPEG formats, Size < 50K.
   
   
3. Calendar of Events Banner Ad:
   
   120x60 pixels, static or Animated in GIF or JPEG formats, Size < 50K.

Online Banner ads appear in weekly issues of HPCwire, GRIDtoday, and DSstar, in ASCII format and are delivered via email to 136,578 readers per week.

PAYMENT TERMS

The Conference & Events Guide is a prepaid section. A Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover or a check payable to Tabor Communications is required with each invoice. Invoices will be sent by fax or e-mail.

LIMITS OF LIABILITY

The Conference & Events Guide assumes no financial responsibility for errors or omissions of copy.

The Conference & Events Guide reserves the right to request changes, reject or properly classify an ad, and have final approval of all advertising copy. The publisher reserves the right to cancel any ad, at any time.

DEADLINE

Closing deadline is every other Wednesday at 12:00 noon PST (Pacific Time) for the following Tuesday's issue. All listings must have creative materials submitted and be paid for no later than 12:00 noon PST (Pacific Time) on Wednesday prior to a mailing to be considered an insertion.
