AppsCo Achieves Partner Status In Microsoft Alliance
AppsCo, a UK-based provider of data mart design and analytic application
development solutions for Microsoft SQL ServerTM 7.0, recently achieved the
highest level of support for Microsoft's Data Warehousing Framework; this
ensures it is fully integrated with Microsoft SQL Server 7.0, Microsoft

Ardent Software Partners With Firstlogic`
Under the partnership agreement Firstlogic will develop and support a link
between its industry-leading customer data quality tools and Ardent's
DataStage Suite.
British Medical Association Turns To Informatica
The British Medical Association has selected Informatica Corporation's to
ensure that 'clean' and consistent data is fed into its new
high-performance, Oracle-based data warehouse solution. The new enterprise
data Warehouse will help play a pivotal role in the BMA's strategy to
increase membership, improve services to members, and improve planning and
forecastin capabilities.
Unica Receives $6.75 Million Venture Financing Investment
Unica will use the capital infusion to provide analytic and campaign
management software solutions for Internet-based and traditional marketing
channels.
SPSS Acquires Vento Software
Staking its claim in analytical applications, SPSS Inc. announced its
purchase of Vento Software, Inc. The transaction, completed on Nov. 29,
1999, was executed as a pooling of interests in which SPSS issued
approximately 550,000 shares of its common stock.
