THE TOLLY GROUP RELEASES REPORT ON PERFORMANCE OF SAN PRODUCTS

The Tolly Group this week published its inaugural report focusing on hands-on testing of storage area network (SAN) technology. The report, commissioned by Maranti Inc, examines the performance of the vendor's CoreSTOR 2000 network storage controller. The Tolly Group continues to bring its expertise and quality benchmark testing into one of the most important areas of IT, storage networking.

The SAN field is growing due to new technology that allows heterogeneous connectivity and network-based storage services, offering a cost-effective alternative to proprietary storage array-based services. With regulatory pressures and the need for disaster recovery, many businesses are evaluating how they can leverage network-based data protection solutions within current budget constraints.
