ATEMPO, iLumin FORM TECHNOLOGY PARTNERSHIP

Atempo Inc and iLumin Software Services Inc, a provider of intelligent content solutions, announced a technology agreement that augments and enhances Atempo's commitment to enabling ILM strategies with focus on the regulatory compliance market.

The partnership will help both companies continue to deliver cutting-edge software that meets today's key corporate IT needs: protecting vital business data, controlling the cost and complexity of data storage, and complying with growing regulatory demands to retain internal communications.

Atempo enables information lifecycle management strategies through its suite of data protection, business continuity and compliance infrastructure solutions. iLumin provides enterprise message management applications for archiving, mailbox management, regulatory compliance, corporate supervision, electronic discovery and litigation support.

The first product from the relationship is Atempo Mailbox Manager for Microsoft Exchange. Atempo Mailbox Manager is an ILM solution that automates the management, archiving and retrieval of e-mail messages. It helps companies manage the rapidly-rising volume of e-mail, reduce storage costs and increase productivity, while helping companies comply with new regulatory demands.

The partnership also lays the groundwork for additional technology sharing between the two companies.
