YOSEMITE, IOMEGA ANNOUNCE REV SCSI DRIVE AGREEMENT

Yosemite Technologies, a developer of multi-platform backup and recovery software solutions, announced an agreement with data storage leader Iomega Corp to bundle the company's TapeWare backup software solution with the new Iomega REV SCSI Drive removable hard disk solution. This new product offering creates a simple and affordable disk-to-disk backup solution for small- and medium-sized businesses.

Yosemite TapeWare for Iomega REV Drive is a comprehensive out-of-the-box solution providing Iomega REV SCSI Drive customers single server support, a bare metal disaster recovery option for fast data restores and up to 10 workstation support. Yosemite TapeWare is localized in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Japanese.

"Our agreement with Iomega allows us to offer a cost-effective, high- quality solution for small- and medium-sized businesses as well as introduce Yosemite solutions to new customer segments served by Iomega," said John Maxwell, Yosemite's vice president of marketing. "The combination of the Iomega REV SCSI drive and Yosemite TapeWare creates an immediate out-of-the- box backup and recovery solution for the small-to-medium business customer without extensive IT infrastructure modification."

Yosemite solutions utilize a three-tier architecture making scalability as simple as adding a licensing key and avoiding the need for a forklift upgrade required by competitive backup solutions. Yosemite has unmatched performance with highly parallel data streams making backups more efficient and faster. The new Iomega REV SCSI Drive provides high capacity portable storage and performs file backups. The Iomega REV SCSI drive comes in both an internal and external version and is used to read and write to the Iomega REV 35GB disks, which are small, portable cartridges.
