Kasten Chase, a provider of enterprise-class solutions for Secure Information Management, announced that it has signed a channel agreement with Storageflex Inc, a Canadian manufacturer of high performance, high availability storage products and a Canadian Federal Government Approved NMSO (National Master Standing Offer) Supplier. The agreement will see Kasten Chase's Assurency SecureData 1.5 secure storage and information management platform, integrated into Storageflex solutions for SAN, DAS and iSCSI environments.

"Our clients are looking seriously at storage encryption as a critical component of their information security strategy," said Paul Chan, vice president of Storageflex Inc. "We chose Kasten Chase as our partner as they bring a long, successful history of developing innovative data security solutions for highly sensitive environments. Assurency SecureData gives us the ability to provide encryption services across a broad range of storage topologies and media, ensuring that our combined solution is comprehensive and matches our customers' needs."

Headquartered in Toronto, Storageflex Inc is leading provider of comprehensive storage solutions, specializing in mid-tier disk, optical and tape storage technology.

"Our agreement with Storageflex Inc accelerates access to the Canadian Federal Government for our Secure Information Management solutions," said Michael Milligan, president and chief executive officer of Kasten Chase. "This is of particular interest to us, given our experience and track record working with governments in other jurisdictions. Our combined offering provides the highest level of privacy protection and information security available today for stored data."
