FUJITSU ANNOUNCES LEADING HDD CAPACITY FOR MOBILE MARKET

Fujitsu Computer Products of America Inc announced volume shipments of its next generation MHU2100AT 2.5-inch 9.5mm mobile hard disk drive to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Fujitsu's new mobile hard disk drive offers up to 100GB of capacity and nearly a 30 percent increase in areal density allowing manufacturers to design next generation portable computing and consumer applications.

The MHU2100AT mobile hard disk drive is ideally suited for integration into portable PCs due to outstanding shock tolerance and low power consumption boasting a capacity point that makes the product an invaluable tool for users with advanced storage needs, such as creative professionals that work with audio and video files. The increased capacity point also makes the MHU2100AT hard disk drive perfect for non-traditional vertical markets such as automotive, consumer electronics and industrial applications requiring a wide range of operating temperatures and shock specifications.
