FIFTH-GEN. LSI LOGIC EXPANDER IC LEADS ENTRY INTO SAS MKT
Customers and OEMs will see the first fully-functional Serial Attached

As part of an agreement between CommVault and HP, the award-winning
CommVault QiNetix software suite is available for HP StorageWorks NAS 1200s

feature pack for management of Exchange storage.
DELL, EMC EXPAND PARTNERSHIP
The companies unveiled a new entry-level networked storage system and
announced that Dell will offer backup and replication software from EMC's
LEGATO Software division.

FalconStor, SYSTEMAT PARTNER IN LUXEMBOURG, BELGIUM MARKETS
FalconStor Software Inc announced a collaboration with SYSTEMAT, an
integrator of storage solutions based in Brussels, to deliver Virtual Tape
Library, iSCSI Storage Server and Backup & BareMetal Recovery turn-key
appliances, powered by FalconStor's flagship product IPStor software.
PolyServe, MICROSOFT TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS FOR DATA CENTER
The alliance is aimed at delivering fault-tolerant, modular computing to
the enterprise data center. Modular computing allows customers to pay as
they grow by adding compute, storage or network capacity and performance to

The Sun Fire V440 cluster beat the HP Proliant DL in price performance
offering by 7 percent, and the IBM eServer xSeries 445 by 39 percent. Sun
outperformed offerings by HP and IBM in Total System Cost over a three year
period by 29 percent and 72 percent, respectively.
