PERIPHERAL ENHANCEMENTS ANNOUNCES 2GB USB 2.0 FLASH DRIVE

Peripheral Enhancements Corp, a leading manufacturer of computer memory, digital media and consumer products such as USB flash drives and portable hard drives, announced the launch of a 2GB USB Flash Drive. This new product is the latest addition to the company's fast-growing DiskGO! consumer product line.

"We are particularly excited about this new 2GB flash drive because it gives new meaning to portability and high capacity storage. Users can carry over 1,400 floppy disks worth of information on this single, portable device," stated Simon Crossley, director of sales for Peripheral Enhancements.

Now available in 64MB through 2GB capacities, the DiskGO! USB 2.0 Flash Drive plugs directly into the computer's USB port and is plug-and-play compatible with all popular operating systems. The device appears as a hard drive on the user's desktop and allows for easy transfer and storage of pictures, MP3s, slide presentations, spreadsheets and other data. At only three inches by one inch, and weighing less than two ounces, these USB 2.0 drives write at a speed of 1MB per second and read at 4.2MB per second. They are packaged with password protection software for Windows for added security. The DiskGO! comes with a three foot extension cord, built-in pen clip, lanyard, steel keychain loop and secure top.

"There is a constant consumer demand for smaller size and larger capacity. This product release allows us to meet this demand and echoes our commitment to the consumer market. We are dedicated to exceeding the tech-consumer demands in both size and performance," stated Jeff Thompson, president and CEO of Peripheral Enhancements.
