Features - Storage Innovations:ADVANCED MEDIA UNVEILS LINE OF FLASH MEMORY CARDSAdvanced Media Inc unveiled its line of RIDATA flash memory products at the recent Retail Vision Spring 2004 show. The line includes CompactFlash, SmartMedia, MultiMedia and SecureDigital memory cards, as well as a flash memory card adapter, a USB card reader and a thumb-size USB EZ drive. "Our flash memory cards are the perfect complements for an array of advanced electronic products," said Frank Yeh, Advanced Media vice president of sales and marketing in discussing the products at Retail Vision. "With our unsurpassed commitment to quality control, users of any of our RIDATA flash memory cards and appliances can rest assured their recorded material is safe for decades to come. The quality of any of their recorded images, data, or music will remain 100 percent true to the day it was recorded." RIDATA flash memory cards are available in an array of popular capacity sizes and are ideal for a variety of applications, including digital cameras, PDAs, MP3 players, cell phones and notebook computers. Users can expect approximately 100,000 erase cycles and 10,000 insertions for each style. All are designed for low power consumption. High-speed, read/write RIDATA CompactFlash cards are available in 32MB, 64MB, and the Pro series52X speed are available in 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB and 4GB capacities. These cards are designed for D-SLR, digital still cameras, MP3 players, notebook computers, and other handheld applications. They comply with all CompactFlash specifications and are compatible with PC card ATA standards. Advanced Media's SmartMedia cards come in 32MB, 64MB, 128MB capacities. They work in various devices including digital still cameras and MP3 players. These NAND-type flash memory cards comply with all SmartMedia standards as specified by the SSFDC forum. RIDATA SecureDigital memory cards feature 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB and 1GB capacities with 45X high performance. They comply with all SecureDigital memory card specifications and include cryptographic security to protect copyrighted data and a user-selectable write-protect switch on the card casing. Featuring a high-speed serial interface with random access, RIDATA MultiMedia cards offer 64MB, 128MB, 256MB 512MB and 1GB capacities. They are an ideal storage medium for portable battery-powered devices, especially supporting all leading brands of mobile phones. They meet all MultiMedia card specifications and require no special power to maintain stored data. Advanced Media RIDATA flash memory card adapters allow photos, music, or data from hand-held devices to be transferred directly to a computer for less cost and at a faster rate than card readers. By inserting a flash memory card into the adapter, it may be used as a PCMCIA-accessible "plug-and-play" memory card. All RIDATA flash memory card adapters are compatible with PCMCIA card type I and II slots, and have a rugged, durable stainless steel cover. The thumb-size RIDATA EZ Drive (USB Flash Drive) portable storage device is specifically designed to hold essential data that can be easily accessed virtually anywhere at anytime. We also offer a variety of license protected exclusive design concepts. Truly plug-and-play, no power supply or external cables are required. It offers support capacity for 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB with full-speed transfers up to 480Mb per second. |
