DONALD MEAD ELECTED TO SNIA IP STORAGE FORUM GOVERNING BOARD

FalconStor Software Inc, a leading developer of network storage infrastructure software solutions, announced that Donald Mead, FalconStor director of strategic alliances, has been appointed treasurer of the Storage Networking Industry Association's (SNIA's) IP Storage Forum. Coupled with the efforts of FalconStor, Mead's appointment illustrates the IPS Forum's continued dedication to drive the widespread adoption of IP-based SAN storage solutions on a global basis through 2004.

Mead's appointment to the IPS Forum Board of Directors demonstrates the company's ongoing commitment to be an active participant in SNIA, as well as its ongoing leadership in promoting and accelerating the adoption of standards-based SAN storage solutions that utilize IP networks.
