TeraCloud STRENGTHENS MAINFRAME STORAGE MANAGEMENT SUITE

TeraCloud Corp, a leading provider of storage resource management (SRM) solutions for mainframe and distributed storage environments, announced the availability of the latest version of its leading suite of mainframe storage management solutions, SpaceFinder Workbench v4.3. The release includes a new Java-based Graphic User Interface for storage data that extends graphic views of pool utilization down to detailed volume and dataset information. The extended functionality in SpaceFinder Workbench helps customers monitor and manage their mainframe storage inventory more efficiently to reduce costs and improve productivity across the data center. TeraCloud has continued to invest and enhance its mainframe solutions to support the estimated 12,000 worldwide customers that employ mainframes to manage mission critical application data.

Key enhancements with SpaceFinder Workbench v4.3 include:

• New Java-based TCP/IP compliant Graphic User Interface.
• Graphing engine for trending and user-defined views of mainframe storage data.
• Physical and logical Pool Utilization menu allowing drill-down access to details on volumes and datasets.
• New VSAM database that provides a data-store for both storage utilization and dataset information.
• Enhanced SECURITY table options to increase control over viewing and refreshing of data throughout the product suite.
• History option to bring batch-only process into ISPF online interface.
• New USS based Agent for XML API calls to access mainframe.
