MARSYS DELIVERS BUSINESS CONTINUITY WITH COLADA SOLUTION

MARSYS, a leading global provider of IT managed services and technologies, unveiled Colada 4.1, a solution designed for enterprises requiring a Business Continuity solution to manage Disaster Recovery, increase network reliability, prevent outages and minimize downtime risks. The Colada solution is designed to maintain real-time replication and synchronization of data across diverse LAN and WAN environments. Colada 4.1 is an open platform solution and is fully compatible with the popular MySQL database adopted by more than four million users globally. Colada is also fully compatible with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

The product is easy to install, non-intrusive and more platform-independent than clustering. It quickly enables replication without the aid of clusters or other devices to create a reliable, synchronous replication of transactions across all databases within a logical pool, without affecting the performance of the system. Additionally, the solution maximizes database utilization and availability while minimizing database administration resources needed to maintain the infrastructure.

Colada 4.1 preserves data integrity and ensures that all transactions are committed in the same order across all databases. To ensure that Colada would meet Business Continuity requirements, MARSYS conducted strict data replication evaluation guidelines such as the industry-standard TPCC-Acid test and performed extensive Disaster Recovery customer cases. Additionally, stress load tests were also conducted in several LAN and WAN scenarios to ensure both data integrity and product scalability perform in the toughest environments.
