CommVault Earns Novell YES Certification For Galaxy Software

CommVault Systems Inc, an industry-leading provider of unified enterprise data management solutions, announced that Galaxy Backup and Recovery software (part of the QiNetix unified data management suite), is Novell "Yes, Tested and Approved," having demonstrated compatibility with Novell's NetWare 6.5. This certification validates Galaxy Backup and Recovery software as a tested and proven solution for NetWare customers.

"We replaced our old backup provider and have been using Galaxy Backup and Recovery software for six months to enhance our Novell cluster data availability service levels," said Graham Prentice, Novell administrator for the Town of Oakville. "It is extremely quick in both backup and restore procedures. Finding the most recent restore media has been simplified. It's convenient to use one Galaxy console to oversee NetWare, Windows, Lotus Notes and Oracle transaction backup/restore procedures. The best part of all is that it has been problem free. This certification proves that Galaxy is a formally tested NetWare solution to provide faster NetWare backups, more reliable restores, and high quality service and support to customers all at a lower cost."
