The funding will be used to fuel the company's rapid expansion of its

EXANET, KPG ENTER INTO AGREEMENT FOR DISTRIBUTION OF ExaStore
Exanet has signed an agreement with Kodak Polychrome Graphics for
worldwide distribution to the graphic arts market of Exanet's ExaStore,
representing a $300 million potential annual revenue opportunity.

MEMPILE RAISES $11.6 MILLION
Kodiak Venture Partners led the investment, and was joined by Israel Seed
Partners, JVP, Hitachi CSK, Portview Communications Partners, Alta Berkeley

NANOCHIP RECEIVES $20M IN FUNDING, EXPANDS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

NEW NAS GATEWAY FUELS EMC NETWORK ATTACHED STORAGE GROWTH
According to IDC, EMC claimed the No. 1 NAS spot in the fourth quarter and
maintained its leadership position for the full-year of 2003. EMC's traction
continues with new market-leading performance measurements for the recently
announced NS700 NAS system, published on the SPEC SFS Web site.
FINISAR, UNH-IOL PARTNER FOR SANmark QUALIFICATION TESTING
The SANmark program provides several levels of Fibre Channel compliance
testing required for reliable, high-speed communication in typical SAN
environments that include host adapters, hubs, switches, storage subsystems
and SCSI-to-Fibre Channel bridges.

EXT. DISK STORAGE MARKET POSTS LARGEST GROWTH IN TWO YEARS
Although favorable exchange rates were a leading factor in the strong
result, demand for disk storage systems picked up in the fourth quarter,
resulting in 52 percent year-over-year growth in external disk storage
systems petabytes.
MEMORY CHIP MAKERS ON DEFENSIVE AS TIDES TURN
Rambus, which licenses technology that speeds up computer memory, said the
decision (the dismissal of antitrust charges against the company) not only

SEIKO EPSON chose SVM to provide centralized storage management and

STARZ IMPLEMENTS EMC BUSINESS CONTINUITY SOLUTION
As new titles are acquired, Starz uses EMC AVALONidm software to
automatically send copies of the movie files to storage on a Sony PetaSite
near-line tape archive located at the primary site in Englewood, Colo., and
a duplicate to the CLARiiON CX600 with ATA archive at the restoral site over
25 miles away.

FileNet, SUN ESTABLISH MILESTONE FOR ENTERPRISE CONTENT MGMT
Together, Sun and FileNet, running FileNet BPM on Solaris Operating System
on the Sun Fire 6800 and V480 servers in combination with Sun StorEdge 3310
arrays, achieved a record performance load of 6.3 million transactions per
hour, more than double previous results.
TDWI STUDY: BUSINESS PERFORMANCE MGMT ACTIVITY RAMPING UP
According to TDWI research, only 13 percent of respondents have
implemented a BPM solution. However, another third (33 percent) are under
construction or in the planning/design phase, and another third are
exploring whether to implement a BPM solution.

TheInfoPro (TIP) has released Wave 3 of its seminal study of the Storage
Networking and Storage Management market. Leading the way in the popular
"Technology Heat Index" was Storage Resource Management (SRM), followed by
Disk to Disk for Back up and Capacity Forecasting tying for the second spot.
CITY OF CAMBRIDGE BOOSTS IT OUTPUT WITH UTILITY COMPUTING
Cambridge, Mass., has slashed the time it takes to identify and cope with
problematic database transactions by 92 percent after enlisting VERITAS
Indepth for SQL Server application performance management software in its
PeopleSoft implementation.
