RENESAS TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPS 90nm DUAL-PORT SRAM FOR SoC
Renesas Technology Corp announced the development of schemes effective in

dual-port SRAM (static random access memory) to be used in next-generation
microprocessors and SoCs (systems-on-a-chip).

ADAPTEC CLOSES ACQUISITION OF ELIPSAN
Adaptec Inc, a global leader in storage solutions, has completed the
purchase of Elipsan Limited, a network storage software provider. Adaptec
purchased Elipsan for $19.5 million in cash. Elipsan's
storage-virtualization software enables Adaptec to make storage more
cost-effective and easier to scale.
CANDERA CLOSES $12 MILLION IN FUNDING
The funding will be used to expand Candera's growing presence in the SAN
market, and to further accelerate the rapid success experienced over the
