Features - Storage Innovations:KINGSTON LAUNCHES HIGH-PERFORMANCE MEMORY MODULESKingston Technology Company Inc, a worldwide independent leader in memory products, marks the first year anniversary of its HyperX memory product line with the launch of its HyperX DDR 533MHz (PC4300) memory modules. Kingston's HyperX line of memory products are high-performance DDR memory modules targeted toward the avid gamer and PC enthusiast markets. Kingston's latest addition to its HyperX product line will launch in 256MB and 512MB capacities and 512MB and 1GB kits (currently shipping in limited quantities). They can support data rates of up to 533MHz (actual speed dependent on various supported motherboards). "Kingston is providing its customers with high-quality products at speeds that were once only achievable by a limited number of overclockers and gamers," said Mark Tekunoff, senior technology manager for Kingston. "Our engineers have designed the new HyperX products to perform at lower voltages, allowing the overclocking and enthusiast community to achieve better thermal conditions in their gaming rigs." Kingston designs and qualifies HyperX modules by careful selection of memory components that are assembled and thoroughly tested for ultimate performance. The HyperX PC4300 modules are assembled with a heat spreader and tested at their highest-rated speeds, and operate at 2.7 volts (low voltage provides less heat while running the modules at high clock speeds). The HyperX PC4300 has been tested using the Asus P4C800-E motherboard. |
