KANO INTRODUCES FIRST DOUBLE-SIDED DVD+R MEDIA

Kano Technologies introduced Kano ArchivMedia DVD+R double-sided (DS) media at MacWorld and CES this week. The first double-sided DVD+ media in the market, it is extremely accurate, durable and reliable. Kano teamed with Verbatim to develop ArchivMedia DVD+R DS media for use with Kano XFiniti optical libraries. However, it is also compatible with all DVD+ recorders and players. ArchivMedia will be manufactured by Verbatim for Kano.

"Kano selected Verbatim to develop and produce ArchivMedia because the patented Verbatim Metal Azo recording dye is extremely durable and stable," said Robert Young, Kano's national sales director. "This gives our media an exceptionally long life, which is critical for archiving. It also maintains the best possible recording compatibility with all DVD+R recorders and players."
