BREECE HILL TO DEMO STORAGE, RETRIEVAL ARCHITECTURE FOR SMBs

Breece Hill LLC, a manufacturer of tape autoloaders, libraries and integrated information storage appliances based in Louisville, Colo., announced a partnership with Avail Solutions, a provider of innovative data protection software. Breece Hill's new Information Storage and Retrieval Architecture (iStoRA), which is a disk-to-disk-to-removable storage platform for small and medium business (SMB) customers, will include Avail Integrity software. With iStoRA, Breece Hill is first-to-market with a seamless integration of hardware and software which provides SMBs with enterprise-level replication, backup, migration and individual file recovery utilizing disk, tape and other removable media. The iStoRA product line combines the best features of both removable storage and NAS technology to deliver a complete, affordable and easy-to-use data protection and archiving solution for SMBs.

The benefits of the Breece Hill appliance for SMB customers include ease of deployment, ease of use, ease of management and reduced requirements for IT resources. The tight integration of hardware and software addresses issues of compatibility and interoperability, and also eliminates the need for wasteful, repetitive procedures.
