MAPILab.Com:Add-Ins For Microsoft Outlook
MAPILab Ltd, specializing in development of software products for Microsoft
Windows, announced the launch of its corporate Web site,
www.mapilab.com, where the latest
company developments are presented.
The site contains information about more than 10 add-ins for Microsoft Outlook
2000/2002/2003, some of which are designed to enhance performance of the
application, while the others are intended to provide a user with new
capabilities:
- Redirect Add-In: A lot of people responsible for company public
mailboxes,
such as sales@, support@, info@ have already highly appreciated the
possibility to redirect a message. Recipients of redirected messages will see
them exactly the same as they looked when sent by the initial sender; the
initial formatting won't be lost, as it often happen with forwarded messages,
Internet headers will be kept, the initial sender's address will be shown in
the "From" field, so the message won't be lost after sorting, which is very
important for those who deal with great numbers of messages.
- Send Personally Add-In adds the "Send Personally" button near the
"Send"
button. The list of message recipients often needs to remain undisclosed. The
only possible to do that in Outlook is too enter recipients in the "BCC"
field. However, in this instance recipient will see neither his name nor
address in the "To" field. If the "Send Personally" button is used, each
recipient will receive a personal copy of the message, with his address in the
"To" field.
- Advanced Folders Watch is a flexible program designed for monitoring of
personal and public folders. It selects messages matching the preset search
criteria and notifies the user of them. This program is very helpful, for
example, for those who need to monitor mentions of their products in public
conferences.
- Subscription Manager Add-In is an integrated system designed for
mailing
list management in the Contacts folder. It allows users to
subscribe/unsubscribe to mailing lists via e-mail, supports subscription
confirmation to prevent subscribing from fake addresses. With Subscription
Manager, any user irrespective of skill level will be able to create a mailing
list and manage it on his/her own using standard Outlook features.
All add-ins are fully compatible with Microsoft Exchange Server
5.5/2000/2003.
