The biggest payout ever for a Neural Network Company San Diego, CA-based
HNC Software was acquired late last month by San Rafael, CA-based Fair,
Isaac. It was the highest price ever paid for a neural network company. The
transaction was in a formula that provides 0.346 Fair, Isaac shares for
every HNC share.
MANTAS LAUNCHES BROKER SURVEILLANCE MONITOR
Mantas a leading provider of behavior detection technology for the
financial services industry, announced the launch of its Broker Surveillance
Monitor product to help financial services firms better protect their assets
by providing them the tools to identify high-risk and potentially fraudulent
activities.
XIOtech PROVIDES NETWORKED STORAGE FOUNDATION FOR NOVELL
XIOtech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Seagate Technology and a storage
area network (SAN) pioneer, announced the availability of a NAS Enterprise
Solution Guide that describes how the XIOtech MAGNITUDE hardware platform
and Novell NetDevice NAS software can be used to deploy scalable, flexible
storage for NAS file serving.
